Osteopathy

Through targeted treatments we support your body’s self-regulation for better mobility of muscles, joints and organs.

About the treatment

How we work with Osteopathy

Osteopathy views the body as one connected system. Restricted motion in muscles, fascia, organs or the nervous system is treated as the root of many complaints — we look for the bigger picture instead of chasing single symptoms.

What we treat

  • chronic back and neck pain
  • migraine and tension headaches
  • jaw joint disorders (TMJ)
  • digestive complaints and IBS
  • sleep disturbances and chronic fatigue
  • post-operative and post-accident sequelae
  • infant and paediatric osteopathy

Frequently asked

Answers about Osteopathy

Is osteopathy covered by health insurance?

Many statutory health insurers in Germany subsidise osteopathy in part — typically 60–80% per session, often capped at a certain number of treatments per year. Please check with your insurer in advance — we issue an invoice you can submit for reimbursement.

How long does an osteopathic session take?

A session usually lasts 45 to 60 minutes. The first appointment, which includes a detailed history, can run somewhat longer.

Do I need a medical referral for osteopathy?

No, a referral is not required to receive osteopathic treatment at our practice. However, a doctor’s recommendation may help when claiming reimbursement from your health insurer.
